Beginning

Kopa, youngest of three children, loved everything to do with nature. He loved the trees, the forest, the animals that lived in the forest, even the little tiny insects! He loved them all.

One day, he decided to explore the forest with his best friend, Milo. As they were exploring, they found something. A stone, Stained in blood. It was purple, and cut into the shape of a gem.

They picked it up, and took it with them. When they went home, Kopa and Milo, cleaned the blood off, and polished it. As they were polishing, the stone started glowing. The light filled the room. They were blasted out of the walls, and got carried away.

Middle

One second they were in the safe walls of their home, and the next, they were both flying. Not by will though. They were being carried, by something with huge wings, and the loudest roar you will ever hear. They looked up, and saw they were being carried, by a dragon. The dragon had the stone in it’s mouth, no longer glowing.

Kopa was terrified. Milo tried to calm him down, but it was no use. They landed, Kopa and Milo quickly ran, but was surrounded by dragons, before they could leave.

Milo was shouting at them, trying to scare the dragons off.

End

Kopa hid behind Milo, even though he was the brave one. The dragon dropped the stone and gave it to Kopa. Milo took a second look, and saw that all the dragons had a stone, like the one they had found, engraved in their chest.

They all had a stone like the one they had found, but different colour. As soon as Kopa touched it, it started glowing, and so did the other stones, on the other dragons. The stone split in half, and one half, floated to Milo. As soon as it touche Milo’s hands, they both turned into dragons. Kopa was now named as Trico, and Milo, Phiphi. Their families memories had been erased, and they now lived with the dragons.

The stone that they found, belonged to the queen of dragon’s child. A long time ago, in the medieval ages, a knight, killed her baby, and took the stone, but was killed on the way back to his kingdom.So the dragons took revenge, and turned two human children, into dragons. People thought that dragons no longer existed, but the stone they found, brought them back to life.

This is what I wrote for my narrative. I think it's a good story, and I am proud of it. I didn't really get the time to plan, so it was rushed. I hope that I can improve, in the future.

Reading for this week...

I learnt how to inference. I found this to be a little hard, because I am a slow reader. That means the lesson was going faster, and couldn't catch up. Next I think I will learn to read faster, so that I can catch up with the group.

Reading Reflection

This week for reading, I practised how to guess the purpose of the authors text.

I found this task to be easy, but fun. I learnt how to summarise and understand a text properly. Next week, I will work on my speed in reading, and summarising.

Today, we were learning about angle! This pretty much explains it's self. This is the work I did, and the whole class had to do the same thing (different layout of course)! That is pretty much it, hope you like my work!

This is every one I found of the web, I'm not actually going to link Anna's & Roriki's videos, If you want to see them, you have to ask them yourself as I am not sure if they would like the whole school plus some to see it. I even found myself, I didn't get enough time to find everyone in room 9, but I did my best. I even found Mr.Walker!

What I did in the holidays!

In the holidays, I went to the Gold coast in Australia, with my Nana, Popa, Brother, little Brother, little Sister, Mum, Aunty, Cousin, and last but not least, a student from China! (Yes I know, that is A LOT, of people!) In Australia, we went to Movie world, Wet'n'Wild, Sea world and The Outback (An animal sanctuary). We stayed in a really nice house while we were there, it was two story, and it had a games room with a pool in the back yard. It was really cold. Everyday we went for morning swims, and it was FREEZING!! I had to look after my little brother and sister while they were in the pool though. I had a great holiday, and hope everyone else did too!☺

A little while ago we were using the story mountain, to plan our story. Here is mine right here. And also if you wondering, I named this story, "The Skraggle". Also if you can't read this, (because it's too small) here is a video, giving you the whole idea of the story (sorry if I muck up).
